01How to request deletion

You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app — you do not need to write to anyone or wait for us.

  1. Open MLOG and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Settings → Data & privacy.
  3. Under “Close account”, read what will be erased, then type your account email to confirm.
  4. Press “Permanently close account”. Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in — you lost access to the mailbox, for example — write to support@mlog.ai from any address you can reach and tell us the account email. We verify ownership before deleting anything, and we complete verified requests within 30 days.

02What is deleted

Closing the account permanently deletes the following, and cancels the current subscription immediately:

  • All meetings' audio, transcripts, bilingual minutes and evidence links
  • Knowledge base entries, in-meeting Advisor records and action items
  • Account info, workspace config and integration authorizations
  • Data of workspaces you own that have no other members; workspaces with other members are kept for them

03What is kept, and for how long

Three things survive an account deletion. We would rather name them here than let you discover them later:

  • Billing records and the usage ledger. Tax and accounting law require us to keep them. They are unlinked from your identity and cannot be used to find you again.
  • One audit entry recording that the erasure happened. It is the only remaining proof that we did what you asked, and it contains no meeting content.
  • Encrypted database backups. They are held for a limited period in the same region and are overwritten on a rolling basis; a backup is never restored into production except for disaster recovery.

Anything else — recordings, transcripts, minutes, evidence links, the knowledge base, the search index and share links — is gone at the moment you confirm.

04If you only want to delete some of your data

You do not have to close the account to get data removed:

  • Delete a single meeting from its own page — audio, transcript, minutes, evidence links, search index and share links go together.
  • Delete a knowledge-base file from the knowledge base — it moves to the recycle bin for 30 days and stops answering questions the moment it goes in; emptying the bin releases the space and is permanent.
  • Ask for restriction of processing or object to processing (GDPR Art. 18 and Art. 21) from the same screen. Requests go to our compliance queue and are answered within 30 days.
  • Export first if you want to keep a copy — “Export my data” packages transcripts, minutes, evidence links, action items and consent records into a JSON copy you can keep offline.
